We did have a few sunny days so took the opportunity to mix up some lime mortar and lay stones in the last opening to be closed. Then yet more tiling, the concrete floor was first sealed using PVA then a straight edge was set out as a guide for the first row of tiles. We used some spare bricks from the fire place and chimney to support the tiles whilst the glue went off. We have used a 2mm thick sheet of stainless steel for a splash back behind the Rayburn. |
